HERMOSA BEACH SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER
Just recently, COVID seems to be losing it’s grip on California, and the nation. (I hope I haven’t jinxed us by saying that) And as the pandemic slowly crawls to a close (fingers crossed) as a Hermosa Beach Senior photographer, I’ve been able to meet more and more of California’s amazing high school seniors.
Katie is graduating from Mira Costa High School next week and we chatted about the hardships and problems associated with remote learning, all the while trying to hold on to anything that felt like a ‘normal’ senior year. The Class of 2021 mostly had all their classes online and so clubs and socializing were all but absent for these kids. I try and imagine what my senior year of high school would have been like so isolated, and I’m not sure I could have come out as positive and radiant like the kids I’m meeting this year.
But Katie took it in stride. Not only did she survive, but she thrived. She used her extra time to work at Martha’s Restaurant (try the omelets!) and to start her own fashion line. Katie created tie dyed sweatshirts and sold them via her website and on Instagram. It sparked a love of business and fashion for this high school senior. As such, Katie will be studying Fashion Merchandising at the University of Alabama this fall and I can’t wait to see what her future holds for this bright star.
As the world begins to open back up, remember Class of 2021, you’ve got this! You’ve been through some tough times, and nothing will ever be able to stop you! You are the future and there’s nothing that you can’t overcome.
It’s not too late to celebrate your high school days with a Senior Photography session. Contact me today to get on the books!
