HERMOSA BEACH SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER| DOWNTOWN AND BEACHSIDE
As I was waiting on Kendall to arrive for her Sorority Rush Photo Session, so many memories flooded over me from my own college days. Now that I’m a Hermosa Beach Senior Photographer, meeting all these AMAZING young ladies just brings up so many great memories.
Rush Week at the University of Georgia was scary and overwhelming. With a campus of 28 thousand (at the time), almost 25% of the students were in the Greek System. For this girl who grew up in a town under 15,000, I felt lost in the crowd. The week was mostly a blur and I desperately wanted to pledge Pi Beta Phi, where my high school best friend was already a sister. When Pledge Day finally came, I was a nervous wreck. So when I opened the dorm door and saw my door decorated in angels and arrows, I was so happy.
College was fun, challenging, full of happiness but it also had it’s share of pain. But through all of that, I had a few key sisters of Pi Beta Phi who had my back. I honestly don’t think I would have made it through UGA without their support and friendship.
Kendall just graduated from Mira Costa High School and will be be headed to Texas Christian University to search for her own sisterly fraternity to join. Her real life big sister is a Pi Beta Phi there so I’m secretly hoping we will soon be connected by the threads of Pi Phi sisterhood too. 😇 As a Hermosa Beach Senior Photographer I had so much fun exploring the downtown streets and ocean side of Hermosa Beach. Kendall has the best smile and looked absolutely gorgeous. Below are some of my favorites from our session.
I wish you absolutely the best Kendall!
