Headshots are one of my favorite things to do within my business. Why? I get to hear my clients hopes and dreams and goals for the future. How they learned from the past and are fearlessly setting their trajectory for bigger and more meaningful experiences.
After a amazing career in Spain as a French Horn player, Brenda came back to the states to teach music. She started out as a music teacher and then moved on to administration in the school system. But after a few years, she realized something was missing, and that ‘something’ turned out to be a life of service. Now she loves helping people find their dream home in the magical and healing red rock country of Sedona, Arizona. I was thrilled to create these red rock headshots of her. And, I couldn’t be more happy for her in finding her life passion! Not many people find their calling and when you do dig deep and answer the call of “Why not me?”, it’s a truly satisfying feeling.
Following a dream is scary. It takes courage and persistence to answer the call from within your heart. I resonate with this feeling in every fiber of my being. When I was 32, my family and friends thought I was 100% bonkers when I told them I was taking my part time photography business to full time. Why? I had a sweet job as a medical administrator that I loved. And the surgeons I worked for loved me back. But, something was missing and that hole seemed bigger than my paycheck could ever bring.
Now I get to meet and talk with people as they realize their passions and dreams. Do you have a dream that is still sitting on the back burner? I challenge you to take one step towards it. Momentum is your friend and coinsidences will appear out of thin air to help you realize this dream.
