We met Jack and Joanne last year and instantly fell in love with them! As we got to know this sweet couple a little better, it was very clear that they are a perfect match. The best part about them is how lucky they both feel to have found each other. Sedona holds a special place in the hearts of Joanne and Jack. They love to escape from their home in Phoenix and come up to Sedona for hiking and relaxation. When Joanne and Jack got engaged they immediately knew that Sedona would be the perfect spot to say I do!
When we arrived at the Poco Diablo Resort we found Joanne finishing getting ready, she was glowing! Patricia Vega from Le Petit Spa de Sedona did an absolutely beautiful job on her makeup and intricate up do. Joanne chose a simple yet very elegant dress from Azteca Bridal, it fit her perfectly! To finish off her bridal look she had a gorgeous summer bouquet by Mountain High Flowers.
Joanne and Jack’s ceremony was held outside on the golf course underneath a beautiful willow tree. Reverend Andrew Murphy performed a very meaningful wedding ceremony, incorporating many personal touches from the couple. Jack showed so much love and emotion during his vows, what a sweet guy! We loved at the end of the ceremony when the couple released butterflies in memory of Joanne’s father.
Jack and Joanne love photography and wanted to maximize all the scenic areas of Sedona. We met the newlyweds two days after their wedding to capture these beautiful couple photos in several different Sedona locations. We started at Red Rock Crossing, stopped by Tlaquepaque and then finished the evening shoot at Bell Rock. Jack and Joanne were so fun to work with, they just smiled and laughed the entire evening!
Joanne and Jack held their reception in the ballroom at the Poco Diablo Resort. The couple spent the night dancing and enjoying their family and friends. One of the sweetest moments was when they did the traditional money dance. Instead of keeping the money Joanne and Jack were choosing to raise money for an Orphanage in Tanzania. The couple will be traveling to Tanzania for their honeymoon and gift the money to the Orphanage at that time. They are wonderful people!
