Alicia had her heart set on a snowy maternity session with her family and horses, and boy did Mother Nature deliver! After debating on a few locations, we decided on this private property near the peaks. The snow cover was perfect and that fog near the end of our shoot was, well, just magical. I halfway expected a unicorn to come prancing through the trees. And isn’t Alicia just stunning?? I loved her wine and pink gowns, they were so perfect for her. It was so cold on the day of our shoot and she was a complete rockstar. You’d never know her feet and hands were almost numb. Thank you for being so brave Alicia!
I photographed Alicia and Max’s Wedding back in 2012, where they had a gorgeous wedding at the Nordic Center complete with a horse and carriage and spectacular horses, Major and Tyson. It was straight out of a fairytale! And over the years, it has been such a blessing to watch this family grow. Connor is about to become a big brother and he’s very excited for this new role.
I can’t wait to meet little Corbin. There’s something so magical about little ones new to this world, don’t you think? Stay turned for those photos!
Congrats to you all!

If you are expecting a little one and would love a snowy maternity session, reach out! Of course I can’t guarantee the weather, but if it’s winter, I can usually find some beautiful spots for Flagstaff maternity photos, or photos for your family or pet. If you’re local to the area, or don’t mind a last minute drive from Phoenix, I can also put you on my on-call-list for snow photos. I’d love to be your Flagstaff photographer to create unique and lasting images of these special times of your life!
